| Departmental Advisor | Students should declare their major after completing
24 credits at Rutgers. They should go to the Mathematics & Computer
Science Department (Smith 216) to complete the necessary "Declaration
of Major" paperwork. Once this paperwork has been completed,
the student will be assigned a faculty advisor. Students are
assigned randomly to an advisor. We try to give each faculty
member approximately the same amount of students.
